From the land of the wind chil factor, Minneapolis is seasonal at last. Current temp is 21. For the outlook:
This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Northwest wind between 11 and 14 mph.

Tonight: Scattered flurries after 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 7. Wind chill values between -7 and 3. Northwest wind between 11 and 16 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 24. Wind chill values between -8 and 2. Northwest wind between 10 and 14 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 8. Northwest wind between 6 and 9 mph becoming calm.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 30. Calm wind becoming southwest between 7 and 10 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15.

Don't worry. We have cold noses and warm hearts. I will let you know when it gets REAL cold.

I was in St Paul in march of 2000. It was in the 70,s there and snowed here in Phoenix! Go figger that one!

That's the midwest I'd heard about and the post earlier too.

So it really is just plain old cold out there. Man, that sucks!

Yeah it does, but you can dress for it. Layers is the secert. I tried to do that one winter in MA, but the wet cold went stright through to the bones. In the Midwest, you have two choices: 1. hole up in your home for long periods of time (this does give you the time to listen to all the shows that you haven't heard in a long time), 2. dress up and brave the elements.

This weather is just the beginning of a long string of cold weather that lasts until April.
